Isaiah 47

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Humiliation of Babylon

47 “Come down and sit in the “dust” (daqaq: the crumbled, crushed (thing), etc..),
O virgin daughter of Babylon;
Sit on the ground without a throne,
O daughter of the Chaldeans!
For you shall no more be called
Tender and delicate.
Take the millstones and grind meal.
Remove your veil,
Take off the skirt,
Uncover the thigh,
Pass through the rivers.
Your nakedness shall be uncovered,
Yes, your shame will be seen;
I will take vengeance,
And I will not arbitrate with a man.”

Amein and Amein!!!!

The prophet Eliyah here declaring a word of warning to Babylon, who soon had forgetten who had brought her to greatness: Does this sound familiar to anyone?

This story with eerie similarity to ours, the free world, a people who’s JudeoChristian tenants became their strength – freedom, tenants that seemingly dwindle before our very eyes, the instigator? she who calls for respect in place of shame, she who says, we know the secrets – they are revealed to us, you know her; the professional prognosticators of times, the worshipers of idols (other g-ds), of things, the accusers of the Word – offenders of the Works; Babylon you back-stabber, you who received greatness, the things only YHWH birthed, you know the strength – the freedom, you sorcerer, adulterer, disrespector of mother and father; you lie to your loved ones, seeking loose sexual conduct, a therapy; you know salvation and destruction, it doesn’t affect you.

Strengthen yourselves daily friends, don’t cease to speak the Word – walk the Works – warning others, but most of all, guard against her – that you too may not fall, for it is written, for it will be, a matter for the crushing.

With love. Always in YH’shua.

Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon:

Dust: 1854 daqaq daw-kak’ a primitive root (Compare 1915); to crush (or intransitively) crumble:–beat in pieces (small), bruise, make dust, (into) X powder, (be, very) small, stamp (small).

2 Timothy 3:16-17

New King James Version (NKJV)

“16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of “God” (Elohim: the Magistrates, Great, Mighty Ones, etc..), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man (or woman) of “God” (Elohim) may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

In YH’shua’s words, “Your (YHWH Elohim’s) Kingdom (Rule) come, Your will (Word and Works) be done, on earth (in us) as it is in heaven.” Amein, Amein!!!!

Malachi 3:11

New King James Version (NKJV)

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says “the Lord” (YHWH; the Name, Word and Works, of Elohim) of hosts;”

Exodus 29:45

New King James Version (NKJV)

45 I (YHWH: The Name, Word and Works, of Elohim) will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their “God” (Elohim: Magistrates, Great, Mighty Ones, etc..).”

And so it is that, after almost 6000 years, YHWH (the Name, Word and Works, of Elohim) continues to dwell among those called the house of Israel (Jacob): HalleluYH!!!! 🙂

Malachi 4:6

New King James Version (NKJV)

And “he” (Iysh: the husbandman, the steward – as in, “the Word and Works of Elohim saves”: YH’shua) will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” Amein!!!!

Malachi above prophesies the coming of our Messiah YH’shua (YH, the Word and Works of Elohim, is salvation) – more than 420 years after he completed his ministry: But with an attached warning, “either YH’shua comes (the Word and Works of the Father to live in us), or certain calamity will.”

A cautionary Father’s word of hope and yet for many disaster: And of course, with given capacity, that we may choose wisely. May it be so in YH’shua (YH – the Word and Works of Elohim – is salvation). !!!!

Amein and Amein.

Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon:

He: 376 ‘iysh eesh contracted for 582 (or perhaps rather from an unused root meaning to be extant); a man as an individual or a male person; often used as an adjunct to a more definite term (and in such cases frequently not expressed in translation):–also, another, any (man), a certain, + champion, consent, each, every (one), fellow, (foot-, husband-)man, (good-, great, mighty) man, he, high (degree), him (that is), husband, man(-kind), + none, one, people, person, + steward, what (man) soever, whoso(-ever), worthy. Compare 802.

2 Kings 6:16

New King James Version (NKJV)

16 So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” Amein and Amein!!!!

Above, a true prophet of YHWH (the name, Word and Works, of Elohim, etc..) is woken to a servant that can only see that which is before him – an army of Syrian troops; his servant’s faith proving similar to YH’shua’s servants, who while in the midst of a storm only had their attention on the storm. The solution? they refocused their thoughts on what the prophet what saying, that reassurance follows.

In the examples above, there is a moment were the difference between a prophet and his servant is clear, one has faith and the other doesn’t! The solution given? to listen to the prophet, the host of YHWH, the Scriptures. David puts it this way in Psalm 1: 1-3 (NKJV):

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly (unelohimly: un-great or un-mighty, etc..), Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law (the commands (the wisdom) etc..) of the Lord (YHWH: the name, Word and Works, of Elohim)And in His law (commands (wisdom)) he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” HalleluYH!!!!

The lessons here? To always look beyond ourselves (man) – staying focused on YHWH’s wisdom (Word and Works); that to listen to the Word and Works of the Elohim of Abraham, is to look beyond our own uncertainties – that armies may fall and storms subside: To grow in the wisdom of YHWH, is to grow in faith, is to be strengthened in all areas of our lives.  Amein, Amein!!!! 🙂

Genesis 1:31

New King James Version (NKJV)

31 Then God (Elohim: the Magistrates, Great, Mighty Ones, etc..) saw everything that He (Iysh: the Husbandman, the Steward, etc..) had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
