The Safety of the Faithful

To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.

“4 Hear me when I call, O ‘God’ (‘Elohiym: Oh Magistrates, Oh Mighty, Oh Great – Ones) of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me, and hear my ‘prayer’ (siyach: uttering, meditation, etc..).”

Prayer: 7879 siyach see’-akh from 7878; a contemplation; by implication, an utterance:–babbling, communication, complaint, meditation, prayer, talk.
