“17 Ah [–] ‘Lord God’ [YHWH ‘Elohiym: Word and Works of Israel’s ‘Elohiym]! behold, ‘thou’ [ha-yad: the-handy-work, the-power, the-means, etc..] hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out [the] ‘arm’ [ha-qaneh:the-rod, the-branch, etc..], and there is nothing too hard for thee:”
To love YHWH ‘Elohiym is to stay humbled to the deliverer’s ‘handy-work’; Amein? (Also see John 14:12) Amein!
[L-rd: The title L-rd (Adonai) replaces YHWH, the Name of our ‘Elohiym, ~7000 times in scripture]
YHWH (YH): “Modern scholars generally agree that YHWH is derived from the Hebrew triconsonantal root היה (h-y-h), “to be, become, come to pass”, an archaic form of which is הוה (h-w-h), with a third person masculine y- prefix, equivalent to English “he”. They connect it to [eg.] Exodus 3:14, where the divinity [‘Elohiym of Israel] who spoke with Moses responds to a question about his name by declaring: אֶהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיֶה (Ehyeh asher ehyeh), “I am that I am” or “I will be what I will be”(in Biblical Hebrew the form of the verb here is not associated with any particular English tense).
