Romans 1:16

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Just Live by Faith

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel [a]of ‘Christ’ [ha-Mashiyach (ven-Messias): the-Consecrated(one), the-Anointed(one), etc..], for it is the power of ‘God’ [ha-‘Elohiym: the-Magistrates, the-Mighty, etc..] to salvation for everyone who ‘believes’ [‘aman: support(s), establish(es), etc..], for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Paraphrasing YH’shua (YH is salvation),”If you believe in me you will do as I do and greater things….” (See John 14:12, etc..)

Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon:

The Christ: 4899 [ha]mashiyach [ha]maw-shee’-akh from 4886; anointed; usually a [or the] consecrated person (as a [or the] king, priest, or saint); specifically, the Messiah:–anointed, Messiah.

G-d: 430 ‘elohiym el-o-heem’ plural of 433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:–angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great, judges, X mighty.

Believe(s): 539 ‘aman aw-man’ a primitive root; properly, to build up or support; to foster as a parent or nurse; figuratively to render (or be) firm or faithful, to trust or believe, to be permanent or quiet; morally to be true or certain; once (Isa. 30:21; interchangeable 541) to go to the right hand:–hence, assurance, believe, bring up, establish, + fail, be faithful (of long continuance, stedfast, sure, surely, trusty, verified), nurse, (-ing father), (put), trust, turn to the right.
