Word Time

1 Peter 5:8-9

Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

“Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the ‘Devil’ [Shed: Malignant, etc..] is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone ‘he’ [ha’bagad: the-transgressor, the-unfaithful man, etc..] can devour. Resist ‘him’ [ha-teraphiym: the-idols, the-images, etc..] and be firm in the ‘faith’ [emuwnah: truth, set office, etc..], knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.”

Amein, may our truth be to the glory of the Word and Works of Abraham’s ‘Elohiym, YHWH.

Choose a ‘Blessed’ [Esher: Happy] Ending!

Fight the good fight!

‘Amein’ (Amen: So be it, Truth, Truly, etc..)

Significance of the Name of the ‘Elohiym of Israel:

YH old to oldest YHWH (YH) (the ‘I AM’, (replaced by L-rd)):

“Moses says: May I say who sent me? He asks for ‘God’s‘ [‘Elohiym’s] name. The Israelites will want to know who has sent me, and ‘God’ [‘Elohiym] replies with a sentence, “Ehyeh asher ehyeh.” This is a first person sentence that can be translated, “I am who I am”, or perhaps, “I will be who I will be,”..
